An Unprecedented Look at Colorectal Cancer
HMS News and Research | January 19, 2023
Researchers at HMS are combining multiple modalities of imaging software to create spatial maps of cancer cells to reveal new insights into structure and development. By combining standard methods of 2D cell review with novel 3D imaging tools, a new picture of how cells are structured appears. This allows for researchers to uncover that different structures within a cell are far more interconnected than previously believed.
